Extinction Rebellion: Blood of our Children

Our planet is on the brink of collapse, and we have only 12 years to stop it.
Extinction Rebellion is a protest group born from a necessity to act. Unwillingly to put the future of our planet in the hands of a government to complacent to act.

Blood of our Children (9th March 2019) gave the younger generation the chance to speak on the dangers of inheriting a dying world, as the older generations began the symbolic pouring of blood. The blood of the children many are choosing not to have due to an uncertain future, we hope to shake the government and our fellow man out of complacency. And ready ourselves to tackle the greatest issues threatening our existence today. Climate Change.

Our Small World

Our Small World” is an ethnographic photo study centered on sharing the lives and experiences of members of a bi-annual micro festival community.

Through interviews and portraits later made into a book of the same name, TheLightscaper sought to travel the country, uncovering a scattered community held together by the universal experiences of kinship, art and self-expression.

With less than 1000 dedicated members, this small community has become it’s own un-official tribe, self-sustainable and ever growing in an age where Hippies and travellers are a misrepresented stereotype. This series seeks to portray each member away from the festival scene, in their own homes and native environments, through the context of their own lives.”

Ghosts on the Subway: I

The New York City subway is one of the most active places on earth, but with in-camera magic I planned a social and photographical experiment. Could I photograph the 1 2 and 3 line of the NYC subway system with hardly anybody in the shots? And could I do this without being caught?

Ghosts on the Subway: II

A continuation of Ghosts on the Subway, After 3 years away from New York it was time for more work. Navigating 6 weeks in NYC with nothing besides a paper map, traversing the cities’ subways became one of the most enjoyable adventures i’ve ever undertaken.

With a wider lens and newly devised in-camera techniques it was time for part II.
